Home Protection training is a fundamental course to keep families safe and prepare them mentally and physically against criminal activities and home invasions.  Therefore, the most common threat to our home it’s burglary. According to the FBI, a burglary occurs somewhere in the United States every 15.4 seconds. In other words, the crime of burglary it’s a non-confrontational property crime that occurs when we are not at home.

The Home Protection course is an introduction and an intensive course in realistic operational home protection, and combat shooting. Therefore, this course teaches effective prevention strategies and self-defense methods and how to design an effective home prevention plan. In conclusion, students will effectively learn offensive and defensive methods of combat with or without a weapon. Finally, the training has two modules: a session at the client’s home and in part at the shooting range for the live fire session.

However, becoming a burglary home invasion victim can leave a family feeling vulnerable and violated. Therefore, to avoid becoming a home invasion victim, it is important to first gain an understanding of who commits those acts and why.  For instance, the majority of home and apartment invasions occur during the weekend, at nighttime when most people are home and the alarm system may be off or doors are unlocked.
