Diversity and inclusion

Diversity and inclusion is a critical in the success of our company. Falcon’s employees bring different skills to each department. For instance, each employee has their own individual qualities, such as their educational background, physical ability or disability, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, and sexual orientation.  In addition, their past experiences have shaped them into the person they are, and this impact how they interact with Falcon, other employees, and our business’s customers.

Diversity

Diversity in the workplace benefits from a diverse employee workforce when each employee offer ideas based on their experiences and background. Our employees and management team learn from the experiences of others as everyone is interacting with each other during the day.

Falcon’s employees are learning to work with different ethnicities, faith backgrounds, and gender orientations. It is important that each staff member learns and know how to adjust their way of thinking.  Especially if they want to contribute to the efficient functioning of our company.

A staff that comes from many backgrounds and beliefs can enhance Falcon’s ability to compete within our community, and increase business for our employees.

Falcon’s diverse teamwork can demonstrate social responsibility and awareness and can enrich its ability to participate in a global marketplace.

Religion

At Falcon, religious diversity is tolerated and accepted. Falcon is accommodating those who may need extra time off or may have special needs that are dictated by their religious preference.

Their religious beliefs also influence how they make decisions. Our employees may privately use their faith to help him make a difficult ethical choice.

Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity

At Falcon, sexual orientation and gender identity are tolerated and accepted. Our employees know that “Sexual Orientation” refers to sexual and romantic feelings for people of the same sex, different sex, or more than one sex.

At Falcon, we understand that “Gender Identity” is a person’s internal feelings of being a woman, man, both, or neither.

At Falcon, we understand that some people have a gender identity or gender expression that is different from their birth’s sex. Therefore, these people might use the term “transgender” or “gender nonconforming” to describe their gender identity.

Inclusion

Inclusion at Falcon happens when we make staff decisions based on employee fairness. If a small percentage of our staff speaks very little or no English, then we need to find a way of communicating with them. Therefore, they are up-to-date with our decisions, policy changes, and upcoming events.

At Falcon, we have supervisors and managers bilingual that can discuss matters with the non-English-speaking staff. When Falcon has a general staff meeting, the bilingual supervisors will pass the CEO decisions, both in English and in the staff members’ native language. Falcon’s non-English-speaking employees are never left out of the line of communication.

Company Functions

At Falcon, we work toward inclusion. It is important to the staff members that this does not mean playing the role of a “happy family.”

Each employee will like some staffers and dislikes others.

The reasons for disliking someone may be based on a refusal to accept that person’s differences or it may be a personality conflict.

At Falcon’s our daily objective is to communicate professionally, getting along and work as a team.
